Works great on my stone fireplace to protect my grandson… I purchased two of these kits to put on the edge of my stone fireplace to protect my 1 year old grandson’s head as he is learning to walk. I have had them on for about 2 months now and they have worked out fantastic. I did add layer of double stick mounting tape to the front edge of the bumper based on the some of the comments I saw in the reviews about them not sticking well. I also followed the directions closely for cleaning the stone surface prior to putting the guards on. I have not…
Product review Product was easy to assemble but are two issues with this product:1) Adheres poorly to some brick finishes. At 8 months my child was able to rip each section off the fireplace.2) At 8 months my teething child decided this was a great thing to chew.I ended up having to remove this for safety concerns. Overall, if you have a child that has zero interest in the fireplace then this is a great product. If your child loves the fireplace I wouldn’t recommend it.
I hate that I had to do this but whatever is … I hate that I had to do this but whatever is best for my son. I deducted a star because I wish I didn’t have to piece them together but I guess for shipping purposes it had to be that way. They look better then most that I’ve seen on here and they do stick well.
