Good Gate but there are some tricks to it. This gate is great. It does everything as advertised. Sturdy, easy to put up, safe, adults can easily open it, and looks good. I did not run into any problems with install. Granted it took a bit of finger strength to get the proper tension but no big deal.Here is the trick that I think most people didn’t get. Can work as puppy gate if you get past a couple issues The latch safety is not defeatable. We were using for puppy containment rather than as a baby gate, so we didn’t need the difficult to operate latch safety. I took the latch apart and removed the safety. The latch was still quite difficult for my elderly mother-in-law to operate, so I took it apart again and lubricated it with grease. Now everybody is happy.
