Keeping Babies (and adults) Out This product was incredibly frustrating to install and continues to be a thorn in my side. Though the latches have been installed, they have a tendency to loosen or turn on their sides making them completely ineffective. Those that have maintained the tight fit are incredibly annoying to get open. It is also infuriating that they donât all open the same way. The way that they were designed forces you to place the latch in various spots depending on how the door or drawer opens.
Work well Easy to install. Work well. I’m sure my daughter will eventually crack the code, but for now these latches are keeping her out of the cabinets and drawers. Be aware that your child can still pinch a finger as these latches allow the door or drawer to open about an inch, but that is just inherent in the design of this particular method of baby-proofing and nothing against this company’s product specifically.
Doesnât keep our cabinets or drawers completely secure They donât keep our drawers secure. Most of them slip and you can still get into the drawer. Would not trust putting anything dangerous inside a cabinet and using these to keep kids out.
