Fun Costume Bought this costume for my 9 year old son to wear at the reading parade at his school. He loves the movie and really wanted to be Willy Wonka at the event this year. Got this costume in a large, which is equivalent to a kids size 12-14 per the seller… and it fits him a bit loosely, but will work fine. A medium would have been too small I think. He’s super cute in the costume and with the Willy Wonka Pin on his lapel and some Wonka candy to pass out to the kids, he’s sure to be a hit.
fits the theme, runs big my son is 11 years old / skinny build. he fits youth Large and wears size 12-14 clothes. this costume fits the theme, but the large is really long. we returned it and bought medium size at target and it fit perfectly. price was ok at $22, wish it came with pants though. the hat is sturdy, but doesnt have a gold ribbon.
Great costume! My 8yr old recently re-discovered Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and is obsessed! The size M fits him perfectly and he loves this costume. It looks as pictured. Gloves are not included. I bought the wig separately (will write review there). The costume is actually one single piece that fits over like a tshirt. However, once on it really looks like several pieces (except for in the back). This will be handy because if the weather is warm it won’t be sweltering in this costume and if it is…
