Product Description
The Rubbermaid Commercial Invader Side Gate Wet Mop Handle makes removing and replacing floor mop heads easy and efficient. The fiberglass handle has a length of 54 inches, good strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance and a yellow plastic side gate style connection for use with a wet mop with a one-inch headband (sold separately). A floor mop headband can slide into the side gate, and then be tightened with the thumb wheel for a firm connection between the handle and mop head. This handle is suitable for use in commercial and industrial applications.

Does the job at a low price I purchased this mop handle to go with a mop head that I received in order to review. Couldn’t review one without the other so this one was not only inexpensive, it also can accommodate both Rubbermaid as well as ‘generic’ mop heads of the same size.A lever opens, and a bar screws up or down to hold it securely. The plastic is easy to sanitize and keep clean.
Terrible mop handle Got this handy dandy new mop handle today for gentle home use, thinking if I purchased a “commercial” type I’d get something better than the average household mop handle. Perhaps I just got a defective one, but this is THE worst mop handle I have in my 40 years or so of mopping ever tried–key word here–to use. Defective unit: canât turn screw to open gate! I bought this mop handle based on all the great reviews, but after I received it family circumstances caused me to not get a chance to use it for a few months. When I finally did go to put a mop head in I realized that the âeasy-turnâ thumb screw was NOT easy turn! If I get both hands on it and get some leverage I can get it to turn about 3 small clicks, probably 1/20th of a full rotation; obviously not even close to enough to allow the gate to open to insert a mop head.
