Fun Activity for Children This is a really great activity for a three year old to do. My toddler helped make the candle for my birthday and she was so happy to be such a big part of the celebration. The candles and slower burning than traditional, so we saved them and used them as tea lights on the patio. Beeswax is expensive compared to just buying regular birthday candles, but for us the experience was worth the price tag.
Fun Activity! I had some little friends at my house, and we spent a great 45 minutes making candles. Since it’s summer, we didn’t need to warm up the wax sheets at all. The wax was soft and easy to work with. They loved it, and the candles look great–even the creative experiments.
My students loved being able to make their own candles Made Havdalah candles with my students. We twisted colors together, and they did it themselves with such ease.The beeswax sheets were thin and separated with paper between each sheet so they didn’t stick. My students loved being able to make their own candles, and they came out beautifully. will buy them each year for my new class. Huge success because they’re so well made..
