This year’s shipment (2013) comes broken. These are beautiful candles, but the entire box of candles is broken. I contact Amazon because the first shipment was poorly packaged. They sent another box that was adequately packaged but this box too contained all broken candles. I suspect the candles are broken before shipping (at the warehouse) and contacted Amazon to let them know. I tried one candle and it will burn down, because the wick will keep it together (this could only work on a very skinny candle) and while it leans where…
Beautiful but potentially dangerous Candles are extremely beautiful and hand made! They came recommended with the menorah I purchased here on Amazon, so I purchased both to save the hassle of finding decent ones at the store. Since these were hand dipped, the sizes around the bottom vary, and not all the candles fit securely in the menorah. Most of them I ended up throwing away, I didn’t want to use unstable candles I planned on lighting by mistake. While beautiful and unique, I recommend looking for more stable candles if you…
Good price for a good product We really like these candles. They’re very attractive, and last about an hour before burning out. The ends are a little thicker than our Chanukiah so they have to be wedged in there to fit, but at least we feel confident that they won’t fall over once they’re in. Generally pretty happy with this purchase.
