AA batteries included. What a deal!!!! Batteries are included, just pull the strip and ready to go. Need a small screwdriver to change them, no big deal, just like most toys. Bright colors, flashing lights, space gun noise, shiny plastic looks like metal. I have four grandsons under age 8, plus two other young cousins. I can not buy one of anything, everyone wants whatever the others have. What a bargain, free shipping, love that Prime. About $2.50 each. Fun little ray gun These guys are small and cheap, you can’t change the battery, and there’s no fancy moving parts, but it made a set of cousins (aged 18months-6yo) ridiculously happy on Christmas morning. Months later the lights and sound effects are still working and I’m glad there are no moving parts to break. Hard to beat for the price.
