Off to a great start After searching: a somewhat affordable and decently durable option.I found these may prove to be a great hack for keeping a bit of a seal on my kitchen compost bin since itâs fully metal construction lends to gaps around the closed lid. Unsurprising the rubbery and durable feeling layer helps with that. I have my first 3 gallon bag filled and in the active compost to gauge decomposition time. Great for Composting These are great bags for composting food! I tend to have food waste, like banana peels and such, and these bags are perfect. I put them in a little trash can with a lid. The bags are green, which helps me determine which bags are which (between these and regular trash bags). Theyâre also very sturdy and wonât rip. I highly recommend the 3 lb bags!
Great for Kitchen and Bathroom! I love these bags. I use them specifically for food prep and in my bathroom trash can. In the bathroom, all of the paper waste like cardboard toilet paper rolls, used tissues, etc can go in this compostable bag and put in our compost bin. Additionally, itâs a great place to hold food scraps and paper towels and paper napkins in our kitchen until we are ready to take out to the bin which can feed our garden when it decomposes. These bags feel sturdy for what theyâre used for. The only complaint…
