Made out of good material. It is a “costume” and comes in … Much prettier in person than it is on the model in the picture. It has the look of crushed velvet and it is more navy in color. We ordered the “Medium/Large 10-14”. My daughter is 6 foot tall is in between a size 8 & 10. It was slightly baggy but we expected it to be because it is sized 10-14, but if She was an actual 10 it would fit about right, so for those above a 10 it might be a bit tight. It is easy to hem the dress if its too long The tightest part of the dress is the hip and waist. Make sure to measure yourself, so you choose the right size. There is a thin gold string attached that can work as a belt to tighten the dress at the waist, but you may just want to buy some thicker gold ribbon at a craft store. The sleeves are very long.
