The idea for the Rad Dad Baby Board was born during a family surf trip to New Zealand – we designed the board to be like a little “sled” you can use on a plethora of surfaces that encourages your rad little rider to build confidence, strength, and sense of adventure – all while bonding outdoors with mom or dad.

What age is the Baby Board recommended for?
As soon as your little one is old enough to sit up on their own and grab onto the handle, they’re ready to ride! Usually, nine months is the perfect age to get them started. Always use a helmet when riding on hard surfaces like sidewalks or snow.

What are the board’s dimensions?
The board measures 18.5 x 14.5 x 3 inches and weighs less than 2lbs, the perfect size for stowing away in a backpack.

What surfaces can I use the board on?
The board is perfect for use on carpet, grass, dirt, sand, sidewalks, sidewalks, snow, and even 1-3″ of water!

IMPROVE STRENGTH, MOBILITY, AND BALANCE:
Your little rider will learn to hang on and lean into turns, improving core muscles that support mobility. This strength will come in handy as your kiddo prepares to ride bikes, scooters, skateboards and even for surfing, snowboarding and skiing. Once they grow out of the board (around 3 years), detach the cord and let them use their board as a body surfing plane on some waves!
