As close to being perfect as it gets! Somehow this game had slid right under my radar and I knew nothing about it at all. A beautiful 3D platformer A beautiful 3D platformer! The art design is gorgeous! The concept of having the game play out like a puppet show is original. However, my gripes come with the long and often bizarre cut scenes and sometimes horrendous difficulty spikes in gameplay. After a while the story becomes so weird I just didn’t care about it anymore other than as a set-up for the next section. Also, as with many straight platformers, it becomes more frustrating than fun to pass certain sections only to die…
I’d heard pretty good things about this title I’d heard pretty good things about this title, mainly the ability to have some asymmetric co-op. The basic play is one person controls the main character like an old school platformer with some extra mechanics and quick time events thrown in. Player two then controls a floating character who scans around the screen for items, secrets, and helping out here and there with the platforming and monsters.
