The ProCare ProWedge Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint features a soft padded, contoured posterior shell that provides passive dorsiflexion to address plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis. This splint is secured with 3 Velcro straps, keeping it in fastened the entire night. It’s designed to keep the foot at a 90-degree angle to the shinbone, which places a sustained stretch on the plantar fascia. Prolonging this stretch overnight helps hold the plantar fascia in a better position for healing. Research has shown that night splinting relieves symptoms in over 80% of cases of plantar fasciitis. Also included is a full-length toe wedge, which provides additional stretch on the plantar fascia. It features a removable liner that can be washed. Universal fit allows the ProCare ProWedge Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint to be worn on either the left or right foot.
Great boot/splint to sleep in I have been using plantar fasciitis night splints for both feet for nearly 10 years now. I’ve been using the traditional hard-shell plastic boots with the velcro straps from the toes to the leg calf along with velcro straps and plastic buckles on the sides. The biggest annoyance is that when I wanted to sleep on my side, the velcro straps on the boots would get stuck together. Eventually I got use to the boots and learned to keep my legs away from the straps. A bother but it was better than…
BEST SPLINT IN MY OPINION. Best splint I’ve used. Have had good results with one other brand, but my big toe was going numb. I have very slim legs & scrawny ankles, coupled with size 10 feet (Female). This splint holds my foot at the proper angle without putting heavy pressure on the top of my instep. I’ve had no problem sleeping with it but keep in mind I’ve been sleeping in a splint for more than a year. (I have plantar fasciitis coupled with arthritis.) I also like that it’s safe for minimal walking. The other brand…
Holy guacamole Batman, this sucker actually works! I have suffered from plantar fasciitis on and off for several years. This latest episode, involved not just arch pain, but ongoing heel pain, to the point that getting out of bed was an agony. After doing some research, I came across this boot and decided to give it a try. After only one night, I set up in bed this morning and took the boot off, and then gingerly stepped out of bed. Imagine my surprise and delight, when I was actually able to walk to the bathroom with no heel pain for the first…
