Multicare-in multi parameter diagnostic device has been developed to execute several determinations from fingertip simply by changing strip. Multicare-in gives the possibility to check and monitor the personal cardiovascular risk using just one easy to use and carry system. In fact multicare in is a new unique system dedicated to glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides monitoring in the blood. The meter gives results in about 30 seconds. The multicare-in kit contains the carry bag, one lancet pen, ten lancets, ten glucose strip test and the meter. The strip kits contain the strip tests and the related chip to insert in the reader. It’s a unique meter (65g) equipped with 2 technologies: amperometric with glucose electrodes strips and reflectometric with cholesterol and triglycerides strips. very easy to use, auto switch on by strip insertion, multicare in meter has a big display (fonts about 1,5 cm height). They system is very clean and hygienic because it has the strip ejector switch to avoid the contact with the used strips. It has a memory capacity of 500 measures with date and time. Measuring range: 0.6 – 33.3 mmol/l glucose3.3 – 10.2 mmol/l cholesterol0.56 – 5.6 mmol/l triglycerides. Power source 3.2v lithium button cell, type cr2032, approx. 1000 measurements. Optionally it is possible to connect the reader to a pc, downloading and managing the results. Dimensions: 97 mm x 49 mm x 20.5 mm. Weight 65 g (incl. Battery). The system has been ce certified by the notified body n°0123. Made in italy.
Not for amateurs It seems like a good set and set up, but if you aren’t good at taking your blood samples with a lancet or dealing with electronics, don’t bother. I’ve tried getting it right nine times. First a low reading, then a series of alternating error messages. Oh well. I’ve given up for now.
