Tough to Adjust I like the belt. It allows me to assist my wife in walking after her back surgery, and it was large enough to fit around her while wearing her back brace. The buckle adjustment is a it unwieldy, and difficult to adjust on the fly. The first time this happened was when I was helping her with her walking exercise in a secluded paved cul de sac. Prevent those falls! My 97-year old mom never leaves home without this. With it, I have so much better control and have been able to prevent several falls. She still gets around pretty well, except in crowds where she gets disoriented easily.. Our favorite steak place is very busy and it’s hard to get to your table without maneuvering around someone. Cheaply made, low quality. I just got this gait belt in the mail a few minutes ago. It seems like it’ll be durable, and it’ll work for what I need it for, but if I spend money on something medical, I expect it to be in good condition…. Both the metal part at the end of the gait belt, and the medal clasp at the beginning of the belt are dirty, grungy, and scratched up. It’s damaged, too! For something that I did not buy used, it should not look like this. I really would like to be refunded my money… considering that…
