Terrible design – keys clunk loudly, and only 2 notes play at a time This keyboard is very poorly designed. The two worst things are: (1) Each key makes a loud clunking sound when you press it down, and again when you let it up. With the volume down, these “clunks” are louder than the notes. This problem is mechanical, it happens whether the power is on or off. (2) Only two notes at most can sound at the same time. So you can never play a three-note chord. If you want a well designed small keyboard for your kid, a good option is the Casio SA-46.
