When it says to run the battery down, don’t let the Roomba just return to the base. It should be noted for other buyers that when the instructions tell you to do a full charge and discharge 2-3 times when you first get it to make the battery last the longest, that you shouldn’t just let the Roomba go back to it’s base. For me, I got the battery, replaced the old one (which would only run for 10 minutes and then die), charged it (done in a few hours or less) then let it run. It ran for an hour then automatically returned to the base.

Worked for only 8 months, company is helpful but annoying At first I was very happy with this battery, it worked well and the price was great. They even sent some extra replacement parts little brushes etc. The problem is, 8 months later with only occasional usage and itâs not working. It wonât hold a charge and has barely enough energy to tweet and chirp randomly. Iâm very disappointed in itâs long term performance.

Roomba is working great again Battery was charged when I received it – nice touch.Roomba works as it should. This battery seems to last a lot longer than the original, but I have no empirical data for that. Just nice to have it running again.The included brushes was a nice thought, but they did not work on my unit. There was some extra plastic covering the holes. I attempted to dig it out with a knife, but gave up.
