Polar Ice delivers the benefits of cryotherapy with compression for soft tissue trauma. By reducing pain and controlling edema or swelling, cold therapy allows faster return of normal function. Encapsulated ice packs filled with purified water are encased in soft fleece material that eliminates migration of ice wrap during use. Easily adjusted with hook & loop closure straps, fleece wrap conforms to body and insulates skin to prevent frost bite. Use post-surgically, during rehabilitation and following physical activity. Effective to provide pain relief for bruises, sprains or injuries requiring cold therapy.
Really good after sports I play on a rugby team on the weekend, and I often find myself really sore in my legs after a particularly hard game. Iâve been looking for an ice pack that I could wear and move around in rather than one that made me stationary for 30 minutes while I had it on. I found this particular one and added it to my post-game healing regimen, and I was completely satisfied with the results. The pack wraps completely around my leg, and the little ice packs last for the full 30 minutes that I keep it on…
Pretty good I have a torn meniscus and this has been helpful. It freezes fairly quickly (opened up), but it also thaws very quickly. I found that when the knee really hurts, I need a thicker freezing pad, but the thicker pad is also much heavier, so I have to lie down. This one is good when I’m not in as much pain as I can keep walking about. It’s made well with good Velcro strips. I’ve found it helpful.
Just okay…. This ice wrap is just okay. I just had a knee replacement due to an acute injury a few years ago and have become somewhat of an ice pack connoisseur. Have tried many. At physical therapy they use a heavy pack that wraps fully around the knee and stays very cold for a long period of time. I was hoping the Polar Ice knee wrap would be the same but, sadly, it’s not.
