Thomas the Train Madness This is actually a good review I bought this for my 2 year old brother and he absolutely adores this. While I will say the material is questionable and very flimsy but it is easy to deal with. It is a nice little in house tent that you can pull out, quickly set up, and have fun. It is not that tall, it was bigger than my little brother which I was happy about, but it is big. Both of us were able to sit in it comfortably and I even laid down and almost fell asleep. Well I’m only 5 feet but hey…
replaced with cheap material… We had a similar train that lasted 9 years, 3 boys! This is not the same material!!! It is not nylon like the original, it is a cheap guaze material that can be ripped, poked through VERY EASILY! We had it one week, and window is ripped, seam coming out, and holes poked through! The only reason we had to finally throw out our original nylon one, it was left outside and cats sprayed it. It never had one rip. (just smelled horrible ;)) I’m returning this junk and surprised this is made by play…
Fun for Thomas fans I got this for my son’s 2nd birthday, and predictably, he loves it. The problem is that it tips over very easily (not in a way that would harm him – it’s just annoying). Also, I thought it was made of a fabric like rip-stop nylon, but it’s actually that fibery-papery-fabric (sorry – not sure what it’s called), and I wonder how long it’ll last before getting torn up by my son and his friends.
