Good but not a panacea Bought for elderly mother with dementia and severe contractures in the hand. The hygiene kit tabs are good for cleaning; we wash them and re-use. Mother does not like the feeling, though, and it is somewhat of a struggle. Same with the carrot, but once it is in her hand, the hand is more comfortable. Not as painless to put in the hand as the directions would have you believe, but worthwhile. Easy to wash.
OT Approved! The only orthotic I’ve ever seen that can comfortably fit into a severely contracted hand without causing too much pain. Plus, it’s easy to don and doff. The little palm hygiene swabs are a great addition.
