Philips PAR38 LED non-dimmable spot light bulbs provide 1000 lumens of full-spectrum, cool white light, equivalent to 90-watt incandescents with 80% less energy use. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, these bulbs fit standard medium base (E26) fixtures and have a 25-degree beam angle ideal for spot lighting. At 5000-kelvin, these bright white bulbs offer bright yet warm lighting with exceptional clarity and high CRI (color rendering index) ideal for project and task lighting and to brighten larger spaces. PAR38 bulbs are 5.6 inches tall with a 8.66-inch diameter. Philips LEDs turn on instantly with energy-efficient, steady, natural lighting at 1/4 of the energy of incandescents, 1/2 the energy of halogens. Philips LEDs are mercury-free so they don’t contribute to harmful hazardous waste. Philips LED bulbs last 10x longer than incandescents and 4X longer than halogens making them a great choice for landscapes and security devices in hard to reach areas-saving you the cost and hassle of frequent bulb changes. Not for use with Philips HUE products. Each bulb in this pack of two PAR38 Philips LEDs is expected to deliver a lifetime of up to 10,000 hours and over 10 years of use (based on three hours of usage per day), saving you the cost and hassle of frequent bulb replacement.
Great light – more of a flood than a spot These bulbs are a huge upgrade over the CFL-based bulbs a previous owner used here. If these go out during the winter rains I’ll lower my rating, but for now they are a 5.I do agree that the description is misleading or at least confusing. There are at least 3 problems.Angle: The title says “35-Degree Spot”, but the…
It’s a spot light, not a flood light It’s a very bright LED bulb. Two of them. They are not a flood light though, it’s a very tight circle of light, it’s more of a spot light.I’m using this above my garage door, and works better than no bulb, and the price is great. If you’re looking for a super bright, all encompassing flood light, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for a super bright spot light, this is perfect.
Powerful LED with accurate color temperature I purchased a pair of these LEDs to use on stands during video productions at events. The color temperature is exactly as advertised, that is 3000 Kelvin. I am a photographers so color accuracy is very important to me. Also, they are very well built and sturdy. As far as brightness, they are very powerful and also dimmable in case you need a little less power. I highly recommend this LED. I tried a Sylvannia before but the color temperature was very inaccurate so stick with Phillips if that is…
