Philips BR30 LED flood light bulbs provide 650 lumens of full-spectrum, dimmable light, equivalent to 65-watt incandescents with 80% less energy use. These bulbs fit standard medium base (E26) fixtures and are ideal for recessed can style lights. Philips LED dimming is flicker-free, silent, and it is tested to work with more dimmer switches than any other LED on the market. The light dims smoothly from 5000-kelvin down to a cool glow with greater clarity than traditional incandescent light bulbs. Energy Star Certified Philips LEDs turn on instantly with steady, natural lighting at 1/4 of the energy of incandescents, 1/2 the energy of halogens and with 10X and 4X the lifespan respectively. Philips LEDs are mercury-free so they don’t contribute to harmful hazardous waste. BR30 daylight dimmable flood light bulbs are ideal for spaces where you need cool bright lighting that dims with minimal loss of clarity. The BR30 bulb fits 5-inch recessed can light fixtures. These bulbs are not for use with Philips HUE products. This pack of 4 BR30 Philips LEDs comes with a 3-year warranty. Each bulb is expected to deliver a lifetime of up to 25,000 hours and over 20 years (based on three hours per day), saving you the cost and hassle of frequent bulb replacement.
Love these *please read below* I come from an electrical (in-field work and sales side) background, so I’m very up to date with the “latest and greatest” in lighting. I’ve been to countless trade shows, and know all about the lighting industry and how much better LED’s are vs. Incandescent. But I’ve always hung onto my incandescent lights due to the LED market not being able to Dim down to the warm orange/amber glow to set a different “mood” for the space, (you can buy “warm Dim LED’s, but they…
Good buy Found these to dim properly, though they become a cold white at the lowest setting (much colder than at their normal output, 4000k if I had to put a number to it), while the incandescent is a very warm yellow. These are 650 lumens, so slightly less output than you’d expect from a 65w incandescent at around 800 lumens, though it’s hardly noticeable. I found the color to be indistinguishable and true to their 2700k rating which was exactly what I was looking for. These are also only 10 year…
Great bargain! I have twelve lights on my dimmer and it would get pretty hot with incandescent bulbs at full brightness. When I upgraded to these LED bulbs, I can leave them on at 100% all day and the switch doesn’t even get warm. Very happy with that result. The downside is I got the daylight bulbs, thinking that’d give me the brightest light, and in that way I was right, but I lost the soft yellow glow of the incandescent bulbs and it changed the atmosphere of my finished basement, home theater. I’d choose…
