Beautiful light 3 way LED light bulbs are not easy to find in my town, so I took a chance and ordered one without seeing it ahead of time. The bulb is pretty heavy for a light bulb (like other high lumens LEDs) but it is comparable in size to a standard 3 way incandescent bulb.
Works great for reading! My wife is a librarian and, needless to say, she loves books! She will literally spends hours each week reading while seated in her comfy chair with a Victorian style floor lamp providing the needed illumination. Since her reading lamp is on so much it made sense to replace the existing 3-way incandescent bulb with a three-way LED bulb. Philps 465146 50-100-150W Equivalent Soft Philps I am really glad that I bought the Phelps LED 50,100,150, Bulbs. They are bright and they do not hurt your eyes. I CALLED PHELPS TO FIND OUT WHY THEY HAVE A HOLE ON TOP OF THE BULB. AND THE PERSON SAID TO LET IT COOL DOWN SO THAT THE BULB WOULD LAST LONGER. So I ordered an other bulb for the other light.
