TWO Pieces of lead? Really? Make sure you order extra lead with these pencils, as they only have two leads in them, and that includes the one already in use. I can use that up in a couple of weeks. The lead that comes in these pencils is very comparable to Pentel’s 2B and they both write very nice and dark without being crumbly, and I have not experienced any breaking. Great for light usage Iâvd been using these mechanical pencils for the past 6 years and they are pretty good. The only reason why I had to keep on buying more was because people would steal them from me. They work best for light use, so if you like to hand write a lot, I suggest getting a different style because after about 300 words, your hands will start to hurt and cramp. The lead doesnât get jammed as other mechanical pencils and they last a long time.
Ok, but top-heavy and erasing can be a challenge. Nice concept for a pencil but there are a few things I felt to be an issue.- If you are one of those types that hold your pencil with a death grip when writing, if not careful you will push then button and keep extending the lead when you donât intend to.- The button to extend the lead sticks out way more than one would think necessary.- Due to the creative eraser design the pencil is extremely top-heavy, which felt awkward for me to write with.- The top of the pencil…
