With the OXO Good Grips Soap Dispensing Dish Brush, nothing stands between you and that sink full of dishes. Gently push the non-slip button to release the right amount of soap for all kinds of scrubbing; the carefully engineered dispenser valve prevents dish soap waste and dripping when not in use. Durable nylon bristles are safe for non-stick cookware, bakeware, wine glasses – even crystal. Tough job? No sweat. The built-in scraper removes baked-on food with ease. It’s easy to refill: just unscrew the cap to add soap, replacing the cap engages the leakproof seal. When it’s time for a new brush head, simply push up on the tab to swap it out. Replacement brush, sponge, scrub heads sold separately.
FAIL on a great product. OXO, consider using silicone rubber for button in future. This product used to be a great kitchen tool. Unfortunately, OXO has designed it such that the soap dispenser button is cheap rubber, unable to withstand a couple months of use. One pushes the button during use to dispense soap pretty regularly during the evening wash up. Sadly, the quality of the rubber is not up to the task. Another way to look at this as an obvious flaw: the button does not last long enough that you can wear out the replaceable brush that comes with it. It makes sense to buy…
Bad button I bought one of these in February 2017 and the rubber button for dispensing the soap has torn open. I had an older OXO dispensing brush before this one and it last for a very long time with no tares or problems. It just got old and I decided to update it with this one. I am going to buy the steel OXO product and see how it works.I am beginning to find a lot of household items and clothing that just do not compare anmore for good wear. Seems to be a lot of cost cutting to keep…
Failed quickly (twice), and now I sound like a grumpy old man. UPDATE: After the first brush died at the 6-month mark, I contacted Oxo to take them up on their “OXO Better Guarantee” and they sent me a new brush for no charge. That was nice of them, but the replacement also died at the 6-month mark and that was even with me babying the dang thing with the hope of preserving it for at least, I don’t know, a year? Is that too much to ask? Apparently it is. I’m not going to bother asking for another replacement – these aren’t durable enough to warrant…
