Snappi fasteners are made of an elastic material and work like a belt on your baby’s cloth diapers. Normally, Snappis work better on loose weave diapers, such as cotton. Flannel, and other tightly woven materials, are not as easy for a Snappi to hook onto.
How long do Snappis work? We’ve heard of Snappis being used for years! Officially the lifespan is around 6 months. However, as long as there are no tears in your Snappi, keep using them!
OK, I like the Idea. How Do I Use It?
To improve elasticity, stretch your Snappi fastener a few times before use. Step 1: Hook left Step 2: Stretch across and hook right Step 3: Stretch down and hook center The Snappi should go from a “T” shape to a “Y” shape when stretched properly. The above photos should help explain what it does.
Snappi makes it easy. If your going to cloth diaper then you need theses.Pros:- It makes securing pre-folds simple.- No doing have to worry about sticking the baby with pins.- You don’t need very many (I only bought one pack and that was plenty for us).- Does not move around while in use.Noted Drawbacks:- Pricey- The ends (the little teeth) are sharp so be cautious when using. Please Click YES if this was helpful.

So far so good! I have been using the snappi for a week now. I went from pocket diapers to flats and am using flour sack towels. The snappi grips really well and has nice stretch to keep the diaper on. My 8 week old is a very heavy wetter and even when the FST is completely saturated, it still grips. I love how it’s flat so when my son is doing tummy time it doesn’t add to his already bulky front diaper. They also have little tabs over the grip claw so you don’t hurt your fingers when placing them on the…
