We use it when traveling and when spending time visiting someone whose home does not have a wheelchair accessible bathroom. The light weight and easy folding make it quite portable. I made a durable fabric bag with a tote strap for airline travel. Note that airlines should check adaptive equipment for free. Recommended, with reservations… This toilet is very easy to put together, and well worth the effort. It is high enough for a man who is 5’11” and has severe back problems. If I were you I would heed the comments of the gentleman who works in this field, and buy a roll of plastic bags as he says to; the only problem being that if there is no water or deodorant of some kind placed in the bag before use the smell is utterly unbearable. Excellent multi-purpose seating The product was purchased for my 82 year old mother who suffered a stroke in July and is recouperating at my home in Florida. The commode was easy to assemble, is extremely sturdy and comfortable for her. We are also using it as a shower bench and for seating when we dry her off after taking a bath. I highly recommend it!
