Meets compost standards by complying with the ASTM 6400 & EN13432 standards. BPI Certified and OK Compost Certified. Meets California Law SB1749. Compost along with the food scraps, peelings, egg shells, coffee grounds and other waste. Liners help to maintain the cleanliness for your compost pail. Perfect for taking with you when you walk your pets, too. Fits most keepers and pails.

As printed on the bag, these bags are compostable in industrial facilities. Check locally, as these do not exist in many communities. Not Suitable for backyard composting.

Donât buy!!! I bought these to go with the Norpro Compost pail, along rib the charcoal filters. I compost in the backyard and thought these would be biodegradable and make it easier to go from pail to pile. First, theyâre messy- so thin that they tear and leak and never stay up in the pail and always slide down into the scraps- who wants to go down there and pull it back up? Youâd have to use gloves and throw them away. I always use a sturdier plastic bag to line underneath this liner. Theyâre so thin that…

Made in China A couple of things:1. I supposed they’ll eventually break down, though they haven’t yet (about 3 months in).2. They are made in China. I think it’s ridiculous that I’m trying to be eco-friendly and then the bags are shipped thousands of miles from a country that is actively contributing to US deforestation, among other things. I am presently looking for bags made in the US.

Warning: These Bags Leak. Incredibly disappointed with this purchase – the bags leak like crazy! I thought maybe I’d punctured a hole in one of the bags or perhaps I just had one bad one. Instead, every single bag I’ve used has leaked nasty pre-compost juice into my bucket and I’ve had to clean the bucket three or four times in a row now. That, of course, defeats the purpose of using a liner in the first place. Maybe it’s biodegrading early! In any case, stay away.
