We include air vents at the bottom AND the top of the bulb to increase airflow and keep the bulb cool to the touch, even when operating 24hrs/day. Equipped with an E26 standard base, our bulb is shorter and wider than other flame lights, so it can fit in the vast majority of fixtures.

When a timer or daylight sensor switches a 3-mode bulb on, a different mode will activate each time, meaning you will only get your desired flame effect every 3 days.
