University Games offers you and your family creative games that are easy to learn and fun to playPut on your own mystery dinner theater: murder’s on the menu, and everyone’s a suspect in this grownup game for six to eight players. The game includes everything you need to serve up mystery, murder, and fun: a shopping list, menus, and recipes by cookbook author Sandra Gluck; eight party invitations and envelopes; place cards; secret clues; and, best of all, a murder mystery to solve. Invite your friends to dress up and play the roles of the devious suspects (each with his or her own character booklet with roles and background info): Rocco Scarfazzi, Mama Rosa, Marco Roni, Bo Jalais, Angel Roni, Tara Misu, Father Al Fredo, and Clair Voyant. Serve up a meal or light snack, play the (included) cassette tape with its introduction, summary of events, and solution to the crime. Find out who killed New York restaurateur Pepi Roni, and why. –Rebecca Hughes

Killer… This review has NO SPOILERS whatsoever. As I read the reviews for this game, I kept coming across reviewers that stated that there are two “extra” characters that don’t matter/play a lesser part in the story. I gauged interest a little over a month.-Give your guests their character name/description (or the invitation!) at least a month in advanced so that they can prepare their costumes. I just scanned the character descriptions and sent my guests a PDF via email.-Set the scene! I had a lot…
Had a great time and would recommend it!! Get into the role for more fun!! We and our guests enjoyed this very much. Would have given it 4 1/2 stars but it doesn’t allow that, so went with the higher rating to represent our pleasure with the game. More on the 1/2 star deduction in a bit. Ordered an eight player game. We invited more friends than eight and had the players along with a participating audience. We adapted some of the recommendations for hosting the party. It is a murder and enhanced it with accessories to make it better. All appetizer, entrees,…
