We know food and messes go hand in hand, but don’t fret – we just gave baby spoons a serious upgrade. Munchkin’s Lift spoons are cleverly designed with a base to keep the spoon tips elevated off tables and counters, away from potential germs. The super soft, BPA-free plastic is shaped like a spatula for easy scooping and gentle face wiping. And while baby might not fully appreciate squeaky-clean utensils between bites, he’ll surely love the cheerful colors brightening up his meal. Steer clear of icky, sticky messes with these smartly made infant spoons.
Great Baby Spoons I really like these baby spoons. Aesthetically, I love the rainbow colors. They are affordable compared to other popular spoons such as the OXO (pictured). They are lightweight and easy for baby to manipulate. But best of all, they have the rest so when you put it down, you don’t get baby food on your table or high chair tray. I love these so much that I bought a second set!
Yes, you need a set of 6 spoons. these are great. Got them when my LO started pureed food at 6 months.Yes- you need multiple spoons. Have at least two at mealtime so when that little hand grabs the spoon you don’t have to sit there and try and pry it out of those surprisingly strong little fingers. Hooray for the end of the spoon power struggle! These have a relatively flat, paddle like surface and are the perfect diameter for little mouths. And, yes, you’ll be glad they have that little kickstand underneath…
Buy the Munchkin Soft Tip spoons instead Big fan of the other Munchkin products we have purchased, including the standard Munchkin Soft-Tip Infant Spoons that we love. Go buy those instead. The reason these failed were two part. The tips of the spoons are squared off and are sharper at the end. Feeding a baby is an art that involves clearing the face when not all of the baby food makes it in the mouth. These make me feel I am scraping our baby’s face. The others are much more comfortable for him.Bigger problem…
