I didn’t realize from the photos that the yellow sponge part was not the thicker, standard cellulose sponge like Scotch-brite but the cheaper kind that doesn’t hold onto any dirt and mostly smudges is. But it’s not worth to return it so just FYI, if you are looking for cheap Scotch-brite type, this isn’t it.

Horrible sponge! I threw all 24 sponges in the trash after using the first one yesterday. I was well past the return date since I was still using my other sponges before opening this package. Big mistake. I tried to wipe my counter top with them and instead of soaking up water, it left water all over my counter. No matter how hard I tried to squeeze out all the water from the sponge, it would still leave water. It is the opposite of a sponge! You’ve been warned.
