I didn’t realize from the photos that the yellow sponge part was not the thicker, standard cellulose sponge like Scotch-brite but the cheaper kind that doesn’t hold onto any dirt and mostly smudges is. But it’s not worth to return it so just FYI, if you are looking for cheap Scotch-brite type, this isn’t it.
They are very hard to use in the kitchen because they don’t mold and bend like normal sponges These are NOT sponges! The scratchy part is the same as regular sponges, but the sponge part is thick and dense. They are very hard to use in the kitchen because they don’t mold and bend like normal sponges. My husband told me to just throw them all away, but I’m so thrifty that would break my heart. I told him to take them on construction jobs he supervises. He says they would be useless there too!
