This is a CEILING light, useful only attached to unobstructed ceilings! I ended up buying the MB970 — a great light! I was very disappointed! I wanted to install this in a small closet in our older home. The ceilings are 13′ and hard to reach. So, I installed it above the inside of the door. When I open the door nothing happens. I literally have to reach up and wave my hand to get the light to come on. The light stays on for about 30 seconds, then I have to wait for about 20 seconds and wave my hand again and hope the light comes back on. This is literally a CEILING light and useless in any other location…
Okay for my needs I purchased this light to enable more light for shaving my face in the shower as our ceiling lights are outside the shower. The light is powerful enough and installation was simple.
Quality product, worth the price. These lights were a bit expensive but so worth it (we’ll see how long the batteries last). I put one in my coat closet that had no light source and I put one in the guest bath shower/tub. They throw off plenty of light and are triggered by motion which is fabulous. I don’t have to worry about turning them off.
