I highly recommend. I bought this for my daughter who is in gymnastics and she wants to improve her kick over skills. Iâm really impressed with this mailbox. Every gymnastic aid Iâve found that was similar was over $200. The plastic coating has an odd smell, but I can tolerate it. Sheâs using this at home to work on bridge kick overs and backwalkovers. The only issue we have is that because of itâs lightweight, when my daughter kicks over, the cushion can push over and has resulted in some awkward falls. I…
Ok but….. I truly wish I had spent the extra money and bought a Smarter Spotter mat. I bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas. She takes gymnastics lessons and was needing some support for her front and back walkover. The quality of this mat isn’t terrible, it seems fairly well made. My daughter is 48″ tall and it’s still a bit too tall for her, making it a little awkward to use. We remedied that issue by having her stand on a folded mat on her start side. A little harder than anticipated, but appears sturdy and well-made We ordered this for our 2.5 year old son who loves doing somersaults and backward flips off of furniture, hoping that if he’s going to do them, we might as well try to give him a way to do them well and safely. It seems very sturdy and well-made. I was expecting it to be more like foam or the softness of a gymnastics mat and to have a little more give in it, but it’s very hard.
