The all new Deluxe Maxi Kickboard offers exciting new features for children ages 5-12. Enjoy 8 new colors, an anodized stem, and a new deck material to provide better grip when scooting. Kids love the ride, and you will love the years of fun and exercise it gives, making it one of the best value presents you can buy your child. The smooth gliding Deluxe Maxi has a curving and carving action that allows kids to surf the sidewalk like a skateboard, with the handlebar providing greater control and maneuverability. Kids use their body weight and handlebar to lean into a turn, resulting in smooth, safe turns. The Deluxe Maxi has the smoothest, quietest ride available thanks to high quality polyurethane wheels and a flexible fiberglass reinforced deck, which together absorb bumps in the sidewalk. Safety certified by the CPSC, the Deluxe Maxi is recommended for kids up to 150 lbs. Its exceptionally strong construction is flexible and light weight, making it a great cruising scooter for urban and suburban neighborhoods alike. SAFETY – For best protection, we recommend that kids wear helmets and knee pads when riding.

My son loved his micro kick so we upgraded to the Maxi This is our second of this line. My son loved his micro kick so we upgraded to the Maxi. With the handles off it fits easily in our suitcase for travel. He is too old for a stroller but still benefits from a little extra speed when walking long distances with adults and this fits the bill perfectly. of course you also have to pack the their helmet!
Good, but expensive, hope it lasts Seems like a good scooter. It costs a lot more than others, but it feels safe. Some pointers: 1) the back brake isn’t effective (presumably, this is the same for any kick scooter, just friction from your foot pressing on a low-tech flap); and 2), the turning radius is very wide. Some kids may want to make tighter turns.
