Great for dress-up and will stand the test of time! I purchased this costume and a map (http://smile.amazon.com/Plastic-Treasure-Party-Accessory-count/dp/B000R4OGZE/ref=pd_sim_t_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=10RNA8YKF2Y26RMF5988) to enhance my 3 year old son’s pirate play. Love it. One piece with Velcro very easy. Great purchase. This is a great deal and my son loves it. He’s 2.5 years old and it’s one of the better purchases we have made. The sword itself is foam and bends easily and the paint or dye on the handle wore off very fast but otherwise it’s a good set.The best pro for this is that the main piece is all one and has velcro. Thank you Melissa and Doug for such a great costume! The quality of this costume is fabulous and my 3 1/2 year old grandson loves it! We had just been to Maine and wanted to take him a pirate’s hat as a present when we returned to Oregon. We had a hard time finding one and my husband said, “order it online”. I found this entire costume on Amazon for probably the same price as it would have been for just the hat in a touristy area – if I could have even found one! Thank you Melissa and Doug for such a great costume!
