Worth the price! Worked as intended. My almost 3 year old grandson enjoyed painting with this however, the paints run out quickly on each color… Luckely every page has their own set. Also, the painbrush it comes with is a bit flimsy. I still gave it 5 stars because the price is great at just about $5 so I can’t really complain much… It was definitely worth the price!

my nephew loves his Melissa and Doug products. He’s … my nephew loves his Melissa and Doug products. He’s 3 years old and just started experimenting with water paints these are so much easier than having that separate tray where the colors get wet and run into each other. These you just let the tip of the paintbrush and gently rub it in the color square on the paper that has the ink color invented in that rectangular or square and then once you’re finished you let it dry. Some people painting in the book others will remove it and hang it up…

Cute pictures, with low quaility paint. I adore the page designs, but I thought it was like color wonder. Nope, there is a palette of dried paint on each page that is activated by water. I was looking for mess-free and instead got a huge mess! My toddlers still love it (of course) but I use it less often than I would otherwise. It takes so much water to get the dried paint going that ususlly the page rips. And the colors are very light. Next time, I’m go for color wonder.
