Even senior citizens need a friend! My senior friend, Virginia, always loved dogs, so I bought her this Border Collie. We both agreed it looked the most realistic online of all the choices by Melissa & Doug. In real life, it’s just as realistic. She loves it and has it sitting in her entryway to greet guests. Eerily realistic! I purchased this for my pre-teen stepdaughter who can’t take her dog (a Border Collie) to her mom’s house, so this way she could have her “pet” at her mom’s. The few days it was at our house, it kept creeping everyone out. It looks so lifelike! And the markings are perfect. We had it sitting on a stool, and when you first walked into the room it looked like the real dog had jumped up on the stool (somehow). It made everyone do a double-take.
