It fits in my tub, but barely. Sturdy chair, well written directions. My biggest concern in buying this was that it was going to be too wide. Check out the pictures for measurements. Keep in mind that if you extend the legs for someone who’s taller and needs a high start, it will get wider at the base because of the angle. At this size, with my standard plastic molded tub/shower, the feet weren’t squarely on the bottom of the tub, but where it started angling up. Great, well made shower chair! It’s perfect! I can raise it up pretty high which works for me having just had a hip replacement surgery. It’s not too wide either to fit in my bathtub and works great with my big butt of 235 lbs. I like that you can take the arms off too if you chose.Just didn’t like the shipper – UPS lately has been really lame and not delivering to my apartment door so my SO had to chase the driver down to get the package. Going to switch to a locker box now, thank goodness for that option now!
Nice quality materials but a minor problem turned it into a potental safety hazard that required a modification to correct. No one likes to suddenly realize that they require a shower chair, but the need is usualy unexpected and urgent in nature.The chair arrived very promptly via UPS, and contained all promised parts. It appears to be sturdy and made of quality materials.Sadly, one of the Arm brackets had been reversed during factory assembly and was pop riveted on the leg upside down. This necessitated a modification that turned a “No tools required” assembly, into a “Glad I have someone…
