Decent starter As manual wheelchairs go this one is probably pretty average. It is well put together and works for someone my size. I bought a cushion for the seat and that greatly improves the ride. I also had to get gloves because when you push yourself you burn your hands slowing down on ramps. I get the whole idea of upgrading now that I have this one as I would love better bearings and tires to get a smoother ride and not wear me out so fast, especially on carpeting. Good for the price It worked well, and was better than what the nursing place had for my wife. She passed away soon after getting it so I abandoned it there. For the price it’s worth it.
This chair is great. Rolls and maneuvers well This chair is great. Rolls and maneuvers well. Sits comfortably. Being the shorted arms it gives my dad just that little extra space when sitting and standing. It allows him to hold his arms just behind him to give him the extra balance to push himself up to a standing position where the narrow chairs and longer arms he had to try and push upwards and wasn’t able to do this. He loves his chair for just this reason alone. Glad we purchased it.
