Just what I needed I use this walker almost daily. It is very easy to use. My knees are bad and some days they are worse than others. I expected that a walker would help with my balance on bad days but it was unexpected how much having something to hold onto eases the pain my knees. I find I use it even when I am not particularly hurting because with the walker I walk without swaying and I think that is good for my knees, hips, and back.I made a bag to hang from the front bar which I use to carry…
Medline Bariatric Folding Walker I have been using a standard rolling walker made by Drive. I decided that I wanted a basket and searched for a Bariatric model with an optional basket because of my weight. It is well built, easy to adjust, and with the dual wheels it rolls easily. The only problem I have found it is wider than a standard walker and barely fits through door openings. But is it light enough to maneuver through doorways. I purchased a Medline basket separately. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase.
Good fit for Big and Tall This walker really was a good fit for my family member. He is 6 foot 8 inches tall and, due to edema, has a swollen midsection at present. The height adjustment made it so he was not hunched over and the width let his hips fit for proper stance. The walker is sturdy and yet lightweight and easy to collapse.
