Easily adjustable for optimal use. Purchased for Mom who needed a little more than a cane to get around. A bout of pneumonia left her winded so this product gave her the option to sit if she got tired. It came assembled and usable right out of the box. The under seat storage is pretty big and used all the time to carry things around i.e. shampoo to the showers, snacks, blankets, extra sweater etc. When the brakes are applied it provides a very stable platform and a confidence builder for Mom. Easily folds for transport.
Potential safety hazard Bought this for indoors only with the 6″ wheels; otherwise you’ll want 8″ wheels for outdoor use. Usually on these lighter versions the weak points will be at the weld joints. That will come into play if you sit on it often (broke one before.) Otherwise you cant beat it for this price.EDIT: Lasted 13 months. On one side the metal tube that runs past the seat into the handle bars snapped off. Apparently there is solid plastic in the tubes to add strength, but right where…
This is easy to assemble I purchased the first one of these for my mom–she needed a little assistance getting around. In a small town, people talk and she told several about her new wheels. Long story short–I just ordered a third one! If it allows them to remain in their homes and independent, it will be worth every penny! This is easy to assemble, folds for easy carrying and is lightweight and sturdy. The choice of colors is great as well, in case they all end up in the same place! 🙂
