and they aren’t fit to perfect size to have a solid row of batteries Worked ok for the smaller batteries than size D. The dividers are not adjustable, and they aren’t fit to perfect size to have a solid row of batteries. AA can only fit 3 across, but it’s not big enough for an extra one, but big enough to have a lot of loose play (if that makes sense). Height wise, up to a C fits well. When closing the lid, you have to be sure the batteries are cleared for the little tabs on either side to fit snug. It doesn’t click closed, the lid just kind of sits there. Now,…
Don’t waste your time like I did The advertised photo clearly shows 2 D size batteries side by side, standing on end which no column in the case will allow 2 D size batteries positioned side by side. Also the picture clearly shows the lid closed. A D size battery standing on end comes up out of the case 1/2 inch. So there is no way to close the lid. What I received looks just like the image advertised, only mine is much smaller. Disappointing.
quality materials, horrible design for battery storage The plastic and hinges are high quality. Unfortunately as a battery holder it fails hard. AAA and AA Batteries flop around inside if you don’t have it full. AA batteries do not fit horizontally as shown in the ad photo (the rows are about 1mm too narrow), you can squeeze it in, but you cannot push it to the bottom. Also, D cells do not fit vertically, they must lie down. Each row can only hold two D cells. It is nicely sized for 9V cells though.If the D cells fit in horizontally or…
