A great design poorly executed – Updated + Fixed UPDATE March 10, 2017I just received the new product and it appears to work just fine. I still don’t think the placement of the USB port is a good idea because there really seems to be a lack of support for it. While it’s sturdy enough that it shouldn’t fall apart from normal use (at least it feels that way right now) I feel like it would break down sooner than if it had something holding it in place other than solder. They may have added more support but I haven’t opened the case on…

Cute but poorly made. -UPDATED See update below.Original post: I really wanted to love this. It arrived quickly, and everything was great out of the box, the customizing stickers are a nice touch. I got it for my husband for our anniversary and we both really enjoyed it for two weeks. The 3 settings are great and I really like how easy it is to use the sensor, and it’s cute! Unfortunately the USB jack broke off the circuit board inside the device. There was no unplugging/de-plugging. I am disappointed it broke…

Great customer service! I’ve bought this item twice. The first time after plugging it in to try it the port that you plug into on the back of the lamp failed. I requested a refund and was refunded promptly after dropping off my box at the UPS store (this was the only positive part of the entire experience). My wife loved it so much I bought it a second time thinking that surely it wouldn’t happen again, just a faulty product no big deal. We received the second one several days later and again after having it plugged…
