Great for crafters! I bought this tubing to put on my crochet hooks when my hands and wrists started hurting a lot. The nice thing about this as opposed to other similar products is it comes in multiple inner diameters, so I am able to accomodate hooks with different types of handles. The yellow kind is the smallest and still isn’t small enough for the really little ones, like plain steel hooks, but they do fit a good range, and enable me to hold my hooks much more lightly and with a more open hand, so less strain…
Good for bad joints Pretty good. Wish they came in short lengths as cutting them straight is tough. The beige one fits colored pencils, the red one fits a regular bic pen, and the blue who knows, something way bigger. They made a difference for my EDS hands. The course I’m taking requires a lot of note-taking and they keep my hands from becoming fatigued from gripping and pressing my pens and pencils too intensely.
Great Product Purchased this item on the advice of an occupational therapist for my dad who suffers from neuropathy in his hands and legs. It was increasingly difficult for him to hold eating utensils and once I cut these to fit them, he was able to hold them with ease. I recommend this product for this particular need and for any other reason one may have. It would work well for toothbrushes (but I think that would get a little messy) and anything else that is too thin or narrow for comfortable use.
