Yes they work, no they are not a gimmick! I will not wear even moderately heavy earrings without these anymore. This takes all of the strain off the hole and distributes it over the back of the earlobe. Can’t live without! After spending most of the 80’s in huge heavy hoop earrings, at 48 my piercing are very very droopy and I get comments all the time that it looks like my earrings are falling off or tearing. These are amazing – I use them every time I wear earrings and feel like they really do help keep from tearing more. THey are invisible and have good a solid sticky back – sometimes they even stay on after showering, blow drying, etc!
I still wear the one the lobes Wanda lobes on that era but I can’t believe what a difference it made in my life being able to we I found these through a stranger and she sold me a box for a small amount! I had stopped wearing earrings because both my lobes had torn through!
