save your money This product is probably not worth buying. It was too basic (the words) for my two older children who range in age from 7 – 12. I have a five year old too, who likes to play this game. I have to play the game with him because this would have been better if either the sounds were spoken or if you make the word correctly somehow the game could speak the word. When my youngest child uses this I sit down with him and we do the sounds, make the word, then say the word. It’s probably not worth your…
Engaging, educational product Well designed, easy to use electronic educational toy that is perfect for 1st or 2nd graders (or advanced kindergarten kids). This is not quite as versatile or advanced as the Speak’n’Spell of the old days, but it’s compact size makes it perfect to fit in a backpack for travel — just be sure parents have a few extra batteries on hand.
