New! LeapTV, the first Educational, Active Gaming System for kids featuring Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man, children ages 4-7 years can swing into action as none other than Spidey himself to save the City from chaos! Run, jump, wall crawl and web sling in this exciting game that blends classic Spidey action with active play. Children unleash phonics and spelling skills as they take on Doc Ock, Rhino, Electro and more in 6 exciting missions across New York.In Marvel’s Spider-Man for LeapTV gaming systems, Doc Ock is up to no good, and he’s enlisted the help of some infamous cohorts. It’s up to your child as Spider-Man to save the day! Override Doc Ock’s secret signal by using phonics skills and sight words to repair billboards and posters all over town. Outmaneuver Rhino, Electro, The Lizard and more, and shake the controller to activate Ultimate Moves. Sling webs and use Spider Speed to rid the city of Octobots. Children can even challenge a friend in multiplayer mode to become the ultimate webslinger! (Multiplayer feature requires a single controller.)As children play, the learning adapts automatically to challenge them at just the right level, while rewards such as Ultimate Moves and powerful new webs keep them engaged and excited to play.To help Spider-Man restore order to the city, players find missing letters, match letters and sounds, explore spelling patterns and identify sight words as they build phonics and word recognition skills that are linked to future reading and writing success. – Carolyn J., PhD, LeapFrog Learning Expert Works with LeapTVgaming system (sold separately). Internet connection may be required for programming update. (Multiplayer feature requires a single controller.).
Good, clean learning fun! My four year old loves this game! It keeps him challenged enough that he enjoys every minute of it. As a parent, I can enjoy the fact that he is learning, and also that there are no comic-book style costumes that accentuate women in sexual ways as seen in versions of spider man that are made for older audiences.
It was a hit with my 4 year old This game is much like Any other wii or PlayStation game. It is very fun to play, even for adults who join their kids. My 4 year old loves it, I think older kids would really enjoy this one too. It has different levels and games, unlike most leap TV games.
We love it! This is great for the toddler transitioning into a kid learning how to play these video games!
