Soothies hydrogel breastfeeding pads are safe, absorbent, and can be reused for up to 72 hours. The safe, absorbent gel in Soothies nipple pads helps prevent leaks. If Soothies nipple gel pads become saturated or no longer stick to skin, they have likely become saturated and should be replaced. Do not use Lansinoh Soothies Gel pads for breastfeeding with Lansinoh lanolin or other nipple creams or remedies.
A fabric backing made of cotton helps protect sensitive nipples from rubbing against clothing. Each gel breast pad comes with a reusable tray for storing in between use. Store the gel breast pads on the tray during breastfeeding, and reapply as needed. Lansinoh Soothies Gel Pads for breastfeeding can be stored in the fridge for even more cooling relief. Vegan. Healed my open wounds Magic. I had small open wounds on my nipples that would. not. heal. Two days of wearing these, and they were almost completely healed. Magic. I used them for longer than 2 days, but after a while they stop being sticky. No big deal b/c my bra kept them in place. If you really wanted to, you could probably get 4 days out of these. I used two sets over the course of maybe 6 days, and the little open gashes closed and breastfeeding stopped hurting. Amazing.
Helps when starting nursing It takes time for both mother and child to get used to nursing – six weeks, I’ve heard – so this helps during that rough, painful, sleepless phase. So much.I only got one pair, which the cat found and I’ve since somehow also misplaced. (There might be a correlation…) I maybe should have gotten two, but managed with one.
